Exciting News: The 2025 KidWind Challenge Thailand Regional Competition Is Officially Underway!

The 2025 KidWind Challenge Thailand has officially kicked off! 🏆 Jointly organized by the Faculty of Science at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and the Asia-Pacific Energy & Science Education Association, this competition gives students an outstanding opportunity to explore renewable energy, innovate in wind power technology, and take on international competition!

🌬️ What is the KidWind Challenge?
Students are challenged to design, build, and test wind turbines that generate electricity from the wind. 🏅 Winning teams will represent Thailand on the international stage!

🏆 Why Participate?

✅ Develop problem-solving and creative-thinking skills
✅ Compete for honors and generous cash prizes

🎯 Eligibility
📌 High school students in Thailand (ages 16–18)

💰 Prizes
🥇 Gold Award – 10,000 THB
🥈 Silver Award – 5,000 THB
🥉 Bronze Award – 2,500 THB
🏅 Honorable Mention – 2,500 THB

📅 Competition Timeline

🔹 Round 1: Online Training (Free Registration)
📅 Now through March 26, 2025 – Online training registration
📢 March 27, 2025 – Announcement of eligible participants
📅 March 31, 2025 – Online training session
🎓 All participants receive a certificate of participation

🔹 Round 2: Preliminary (On-Site Competition)
📅 April 1 – April 18, 2025 – Preliminary registration (limited to 40 teams)
📢 April 21, 2025 – Announcement of selected teams
📅 April 30, 2025 – On-site competition @ KMITL Faculty of Science
🎟️ Registration fee: 1,000 THB per team
🔥 The top 20 teams advance to the final!

🔹 Round 3: Final
📅 August 2025 – Final @ KMITL
