2024 KidWind Challenge in Asia Taiwan Southern Regional Wraps Up in Style as Wind-Power Competition Fever Rises Again

The Southern regional of the 2024 KidWind Challenge in Asia, organized by AESEA, was successfully held at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. The competition attracted outstanding teams from Kaohsiung, Tainan, and Chiayi — and even teams from Taipei traveled south to compete — all vying for the chance to advance to the Asian league.

Competition on site was fierce, with teams showcasing masterful wind-power designs and innovative technology that won unanimous praise from the professional judges and guests in attendance. Advancing teams will head to the Taoyuan Arena on November 9–10 for the Asian league, competing for coveted berths in the global finals.

Special thanks to the distinguished guests who provided guidance and served as judges, including President Chou Te-kuang, Vice President Wang Chen-chien, Dean Tsai Ming-tsun, Director Lin Ju-li, and Professor Chen Yu-jen of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology; Chairman Wang Chang-jen of the Physics Education Association of Taiwan; Chairman Chou Chien-heng of AESEA; Director Lin Yen-tsen of the Sustainability Center at Yu Da University of Science and Technology; and Head Judge Chen Kuan-tse of Little Stark Lab. Their support and assistance brought the event to a successful close.
