2026 KidWind Teacher Enhancement Workshop Concludes at NMMST: Focusing on Wind Turbine Practice and Preparation for the 2026 Challenge in Asia

Co-hosted by the Asia-Pacific Energy & Science Education Association (AESEA) and the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology (NMMST), the "2026 KidWind Challenge - Teacher Enhancement Workshop" was successfully held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 13:00 to 17:00 at NMMST.

✨ Workshop Highlights & Recap

This event was specially tailored for teachers interested in establishing or advising KidWind teams at their schools.
In the first half, Prof. Chien-Heng Chou from Vanung University, who is also the Chairman of AESEA, provided a comprehensive introduction to the "2026 KidWind Challenge in Asia" and explained the theories behind wind turbines and blades in an accessible way.
In the second half, Mr. Ming-Te Wu from Chingshin Academy, a Supervisor of AESEA, led the teachers in an engaging and practical "Wind Turbine Blade Exploration" hands-on session.
The event attracted enthusiastic attendance from educators across the country, including teachers from Taipei European School, Taichung Industrial Senior High School, New Taipei Municipal San-Min Senior High School, and Chingshin Academy. The on-site interactions and exchanges were incredibly lively.

🚨 Event Teaser: 2026 Challenge in Asia Registration Closing Soon

With the conclusion of the workshop, the international "2026 KidWind Challenge in Asia" is entering its final countdown for registration.

The "2026 KidWind Challenge in Asia" will be grandly held at Yu Da University of Science and Technology on December 12 (Senior High Division) and December 13 (Elementary & Junior High Divisions).

Registration deadline for local Taiwan teams: From now until Friday, October 2, 2026, at 17:30.
Please ensure you complete your online registration and payment via RegMaster before the deadline. Late submissions will be considered incomplete!
